Christina Wong focuses on challenging the conventional idea of textiles by creatively pushing the boundaries of warp and weft to create self-forming three-dimensional textiles. Her work is driven by material and technical exploration to fully exploit the potential of materials. Her careful selection of fibres, technique and structure is based on their natural behaviour after experimenting and testing controlled tactile effects.
